MANILA, Phlippines - After the wrath of typhoon Yolanda hit the Philippines in November 2013 which left a countless number lost lives, families in distraught and devastated homes, WHDC felt that the organization has to do something. Since the company has been celebrating its annual Christmas Party wherein they award employees with the monetary amount and spending for its usual holiday gathering, WHDC has decided then to forgo the celebration and pulled the money into the account to donate and reach out for HABITAT FOR HUMANITY instead.  Supporting one of its core volunteering programs dubbed as “ONE BUILDS” paved the way for WHDC to send out sixty volunteers to the Payatas site helping out around 333 families. The monumental engagement outreach volunteering program of WHDC has given huge gratitude not only to HABITAT FOR HUMANITY but also to all the families who are now living in the site away from danger zones and water risks where mostly belongs to informal settlers then and public school teachers.
